What is the difference between flux and flux?

1. Flux: A chemical substance that can help and promote the welding process during the welding process, and at the same time has a protective effect and prevents oxidation reactions. Flux can be divided into solid, liquid and gas. Mainly include "auxiliary heat conduction", "remove oxides", "reduce the surface tension of the welded material", "remove the surface oil of the welded material, increase the welding area", "prevent re-oxidation" and other aspects. There are two key functions in this respect: "removal of oxides" and "reducing the surface tension of the material being welded".
Flux is suitable for electronic soldering, such as PCB and household appliances. To put it bluntly, it can only be used with tin to realize its function.
2. Flux generally refers to all kinds of substances that can lower the melting point of the substance. Flux is most commonly used in metallurgy, which enables metals to be smelted and welded at lower temperatures. Since fluxes often contain acidic substances, if they are accidentally inhaled too much, they may cause poisoning.


Properties: generally refers to substances that can reduce the softening, melting or liquefaction temperature of their substances.  In chemical analysis, the main function is to turn insoluble substances into soluble substances for easy analysis. For example, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, a mixture of sodium carbonate and potassium nitrate, etc.

Mainly used in metallurgy, its main function is to combine with impurities in minerals to form slag and separate from metals to achieve the purpose of smelting or refining.
